How do you open and run a shop in İstanbul Çarşı?
In İstanbul Çarşı your shop is open from 08:00 to 18:30; you buy goods at the Grand Bazaar, place them from the Display tab and choose your own margin, while rent and wages are deducted every evening.
How do I open a shop?
Tap your shop on the map, choose a location and open the shutters. You start with a stall in Eminönü and, as money grows, move to Kadıköy, Beşiktaş and Nişantaşı. Beşiktaş and beyond need a license from the Job Center.
How do I put goods on the shelf?
Buy goods at the Grand Bazaar; they go to storage. In your shop open the Display tab and tap "+ Place". If storage is full, buying stops, so free space before you restock.
How do I choose a margin?
You set the margin. The higher it is, the fewer customers buy; the lower it is, the less you earn per sale. Start low, watch how fast things sell, then adjust.
When should I hire staff?
When customers walk away. Alone you serve only a few customers a day; an apprentice from the Staff tab lets you serve more. The apprentice quest pays 1,000 lira and the journeyman quest 1,450 lira.
Why does a shop get sealed?
Rent and wages are deducted from cash every evening. If your cash is negative three evenings in a row, the shop is sealed and only a quarter of what you invested comes back. Keep cash positive and do not over-hire.
What happens while I am away?
The shop keeps selling and you see a summary when you return.
